EQO - Evaluation Qualité Officine

EQO is a web site dedicated to quality improvements in pharmacies.

Under the supervision of the French National College of Pharmacists (Ordre National des Pharmaciens) EQO was conceived by and dedicated to pharmacists. It offers each pharmacist and his/her team the opportunity to assess and compare his/her practice to quality guidelines.

EQO provides also pharmacists with quality documentation and educational tools to help them to engage quality improvement actions.

In practice EQO offers two interactive services:

• a self assessment tool , which is a simple and rapid questionnaire. It takes only 15 minutes to fill in the questionnaire divided into 6 sections corresponding to 6 dimensions of Quality Assurance in pharmacies. Results of the assessment can be viewed on a radar plot and compared with regional and national average scores. This service is dedicated to pharmacists and its access is protected by password.

• a dynamic document repository that gives access to educational tools and quality documentation in relation with the questions of the self-assessment questionnaire (procedures, regulatory texts, quality guidelines,etc.). The documents are classified by theme and can be downloaded. Comments and reading notes can be posted on the site and new contents can be proposed to enrich the document repository.
